Jump in a raft, canoe, kayak, or tube and take a fun and relaxing trip down the Chattahoochee River.  Chattahoochee Outfitters is headquartered in Azalea Park in Roswell, Georgia, just minutes from downtown Atlanta.  Shoot the Hooch at Azalea Park is open from 10 am until 7 pm (last hourly rental is at 6 pm) seven days a week from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  After Labor Day, we will be open seven days a week as long as demand and weather permits.   We proudly serve Starbucks Coffee, Nathans hot dogs, homemade ice cream and dipn dots ice cream, fresh pretzels and many refreshing beverages.  We are the only outfitters providing shuttle service for our clients in the Atlanta area.

From our headquarters, you can canoe, or kayak on an hourly basis. If you want to take a trip up river, you can raft, canoe, kayak and tube from Riverside Park (a short 1 ½ mile trip).  If you want a longer trip, you can put in at Island Ford and paddle downriver 3 miles to Azalea Park. We also have an 8 mile trip from Garrard Landing for canoeing and kayaking, if you are feeling adventurous.  We can shuttle you to the location and you can paddle back to Azalea Park.   Reservations are recommended for Azalea Park rentals as demand is high for our equipment you; can call (770) 650-1008 to set up a reservation.   Walk-ins are welcome; however, we do not like to disappoint people when all of our equipment is rented.

We, also, offer raft, canoe and kayak trip rentals from Johnson Ferry to Paces Mill.  From the Powers Ferry location we rent tubes, rafts, canoes and kayaks for a trip to Paces Mill. These trips are only avaliable on the weekends with a prepaid reservation as we can not take payment within the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area Parks.

Payment is due in full at the time reservations are made. A current driver's license is required for all rentals. We accept all major credit cards. Refund policy: to receive a refund on a cancellation, we must be notified 14 days prior to the trip date. In case of a rain-out, you can reschedule for a later date.
